Projects

Since Ground Breaking in December 1998, the Lord has expanded our vision for the Mission Village.  Currently there are eight projects in various stages of development.

The first project that is nearing completion is The Christian Community Center. Within the Center is Grace Hall which seats more than 600 people, a large fellowship hall with a kitchen, six classrooms, a library and a Computer training center.

The second project began in Nov 2004.  Two of the classrooms were converted into a Healthcare Clinic.  Because of its success, it has now become a Permanent Healthcare Clinic.

The third project is The Good Samaritan Mission Hospital.  This facility will not turn away any patient because of religion, creed, ethnic origin or the inability to pay.  Our mission is to establish medical services that do not compete, but compliment other established healthcare facilities in the local area.

This state of the art facility will function using US Healthcare Standards.   Using the most modern equipment and techniques, diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical problems will set a new standard for quality care.  As one government health official stated, “ It will be the Mayo Clinic of West Africa, people will come from all of West Africa to be treated here.”

To expand the reach of the Mission Hospital, this facility will be a training center for doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals from the region.

The fourth project is Economic Development to address the neglected agricultural economy.  The primary goal is to encourage farmers to actively participate in agricultural entrepreneurship and to foster development of related businesses.

The fifth project is to establish a Secondary school of excellence in the American tradition, which serves the complete educational needs of the students so that students will be prepared for higher education anywhere in the world.

The sixth project is Village Ministry  This medical and evangelistic outreach to the villages will address the medical problems, public health, educational, and spiritual issues of the people.

The seventh project is a Hospice Center to serve the terminally ill and those with HIV/AIDS.  The plan is to launch this Center utilizing hospital space until a permanent facility is completed.  This will allow us to address this current need in a timely manner.

The eighth project is an Orphanage to care for abandoned children or those whose parents have died from AIDS or other causes.
